Where the olives grow we are starting
HK Cat Litter produces natural cat litter from olive pits and pine pellets in its production facility in Ayvalık. We care about the health of our pets and the environment we live in at the same time.
After each harvest, tons of beans remain from the press. When not evaluated waste, when evaluated, in your cat's litter box a clean floor.
Nowadays, many cat litters are produced from chemical-containing, dusty and environmentally harmful raw materials. We have developed a highly absorbent, low-dust and perfume-free alternative by using the power of olive pits.
We listened and analyzed the needs of pet owners and developed a product to suit them. The most concrete result of this approach is that our litter is compatible with automatic cat toilets.

From olives to sand
In four steps, a by-product is added to a sand container.
- 01Harvest and pressing
Olive oil is taken; What remains is the pomace and the seed.
- 02Separation and drying
The seed is separated from the pulp and its moisture is removed.
- 03Grinding and sifting
Grain size is adjusted, powder is sifted.
- 04Carbonization
Some of it turns into activated carbon; The scent is retained in these pores.
